Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010PostSecret was born out of an art project by a man interested in giving the world a way to express their deepest secrets that they have never let anyone know about before. Since the day it began this has become a huge, worldwide project with over 250,000 people sending their secrets to Frank Warren in Germantown, Maryland, USA. The project gives people the chance to liberate themselves from a secret but spreading it but without having to tell the world who they are. The website which posts a variety of these secrets every week can be found simply at www.postsecret.com
I find this project personally quite inspirational. It gives so many people hope that others are like them and gives so many people the chance to set themselves free or to tell the world of their aspirations and dreams. Check it out!

GLYNI Girl Appears On September Issue Of GCN
Sunday, August 31st, 2008Lifetime GLYNI member Erin McKenna will appear on the September edition of GCN(Gay Community News)
The American Beauty will appear alongside members from BeLonG To! (Dublin) and shOUT! (Galway) in an annual youth GCN photo-shoot. Erin talks briefly about her time at GLYNI and the hard work she has done for Carafriend. Posing with some dazzling outfits, Erin takes an amazing picture. She wears a variety of different clothes including a sexy army officer hat and a “Ramones” T-shirt. Yes Madam! The lovely Erin is not only vivacious in her shoot but a great friend to all at GLYNI.
We also would like to wish Erin the best of luck back in America. She is truly an amazing person, a true Role-Model and a credit to all young lesbian girls out there.
So Good luck Erin! We will miss you.

Sunday, January 20th, 2008Gay & Lesbian Youth Northern Ireland, infamously known as GLYNI (pron. glin-E), is an organisation for young people in Northern Ireland who identify as being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or non-heterosexual.
We have existed since 1998, and continue to run a popular youth group every Monday night in Belfast City Centre. We also provide befriending and e-mail support to young people aged 25 years and under throughout Northern Ireland.
This site will tell you everything you need to know about GLYNI, and provides information on being a young non-heterosexual person in Northern Ireland!
